The Craigieburn team have been working hard in the lead up to the Christmas break!

The Pacific Epping team and subcontractors have all worked hard in the lead up to the opening of the new mall entry of the Shopping Centre yesterday.

Everyone battled through the weather of late, to have the new carpark opened to the public which included new asphalt, concrete pavements and landscaping. The opening of both the mall entry and new carpark is a great way for the whole team to finish off this year.

The team now have one project hand over left which will be the warm shell handover to Goodstart Early Learning for their fit out in the new year.

Everyone is looking forward to coming back in 2019 to finish off another successful project at Pacific Epping Shopping Centre!

The Kingston Village Shopping Centre on Grubb Rd in Ocean Grove has been awarded to Maben Group.

Construction involves a Woolworths Supermarket, Dan Murphy’s Liquor, Gym, a discount chemist, associated specialty retail and mall, pad sites for a specialty retail premises, medical centre, landscaping and related services, on grade car parking for 550 car spaces (approx.) and servicing provisions for a petrol station, Mc Donald’s and ALDI supermarket.

Maben Group are pleased to be working with Lascorp Development Group (Aust) Pty Ltd, Clarke Hopkins Clarke Architects and Urban Developments and look forward to another successful project.

Last week the Albert Street team completed the lift over run and crane base pour.

Upcoming works include the digging of footings, loading out of dirt and rock from site, pouring of the lift over run walls and tower crane installation.

Maben Group are pleased to announce that we have been appointed the preferred contractor for 7 Ormond Boulevard, University Hill.

Works for the project include:

– 2 storey, 4320 sqm office building with 124 secure carparks
– Double height glazed atriums with feature stairs
– Spacious entrance lobbies with high spec finishes
– Expansive glazing
– Feature façade with accent LED Signage Fins
– Secure bike parking within the carpark

Maben Group are looking forward to working closely with MAB Corporation and Watson Young Architects once again.

Concrete pours, precast installation, steel erection – it’s been a busy few weeks at Craigieburn Junction Retail.

The last concrete pour to Building A2 is now complete, closing out all remaining suspended slab pours.

And the final precast element was installed last week.

Total element count reaching 516! Well done team.

Maben and all the subcontractors are continuing their momentum on-site and working hard in the lead up to the end of the year.

The Pacific Epping new mall entry has been constructed with the ground slab poured, precast erected, first floor slab poured and structural steel erected all in the past few weeks.

The façade cladding is well underway around the new gym tenancy on the ground level.

On level 1, the new childcare tenancy is progressing well with aluminium window and doors frames installed and plaster currently going up on walls. The external concrete planters have been poured for the childcare outdoor area.

Aldi is complete and back open for trade.

Following the pulverisation of the asphalt, the subgrade has been stripped back to the capping layer and re-compacted prior to having 1900 cubic metres brought into site to build up to the correct levels ready for footings.

Footings, including the internal inground services are now complete.

The Hillsong Church project at Knoxfield is now approaching completion.

Most trades have completed their works and commissioning of services has commenced. Externally signage is being installed, landscaping has been completed and car parks are ready to use.

Internally touch up painting is underway with fit off of most trades well over 95% complete.

Joinery is being loaded in and bench tops installed.

Carpet and vinyl flooring is well advanced with only sealed concrete floors as a finishing touch.

Craigieburn Junction is on its way up!

Building D Level 1 Slab is now complete, and scaffold & formwork to pour 1 on level 2 nearing completion.

Building A2 Level 1 Pour 1 is finished with pour 2 now ready to go.

Ground floor precast panels have been installed to all buildings.

And roofing is complete to Buildings A1 & A2 Stage 1.
