Works have begun on site at the new Holden Dealership at Essendon Fields.

The existing airside pavements have been pulverised allowing the civil contractor to commence preparing the subbase.

Rough in for in-ground services has also commenced with concrete footings scheduled for next week.

Maben and all subcontractors have worked very hard in the past few weeks to reach several key milestones of the project.

The second largest portion of the project – the gym tenancy – has been handed over to the fit out contractors to commence their works.

The team have constructed a new shopfront for the Reject Shop and the store is now back open for trade.

A new shopfront has been completed for Aldi which involved new structural steel, glazing and roller shutter doors. The store has been handed over to the fit out contractors.

On the Childcare level the roof has been laid and wall framing has begun. In the external areas the concrete seating and large concrete planters have been formed up and are now ready to be poured.

Great progress team – well done!
