Maben Group are pleased to announce that we have been appointed as preferred builder for the Woodlea Local Town Centre project

The proposed works will consist of the following:

– A Coles supermarket, Liquorland tenancy & 17 specialty tenancies;
– A medical centre, gym, tavern and commercial office tenancies;
– Retail food and beverage building.

Maben Group are looking forward to working closely with Woodlea, Charter Keck Cramer, and NH Architecture.

We are pleased to welcome Michael to Maben Group.

Michael commenced with us in July in the role of Estimating Graduate.

Michael completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management at RMIT in 2011, and prior to joining our team, he worked as a real estate agent for several years as a licensed estate agent, auctioneer and sales manager.

Maben Group welcomes Justin Porter!

Justin began his career in 2007 as an Apprentice Carpenter and since then has worked on a number of new build and refurbishment projects in the retail sector ranging from $10M – $40M.

He joined us in the role of Site Supervisor in July.

We have reached an exciting milestone at Highpoint Shopping Centre with the delivery and installation of the two new Centre Court escalators!

Following completion of the ceilings within Zone 3 Level 3 the team have commenced tiling works, whilst on Level 2 the ‘Honeycomb’ ceilings are progressing well.

Zone 1 is starting to take shape following the structural demolition of the first of three Juliet balconies and the new water feature structural steel erected with formwork and concrete to follow.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Luke Maccora to Maben Group as our Commercial Manager.

Luke commenced with us in February and has come on board after a successful career in Contract Management.

We are very pleased to have you on board, Luke!

The Kingston Village team recently handed over Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s for the commencement of shop fit out works.

The tenancy handovers for the remaining retail spaces are now underway.

Final preparation of the carpark sub base has begun in readiness for asphalt works in the coming week.

We are pleased to welcome Jasmine Tisdall.

Jasmine commenced in August in the accounts team as an Assistant Accountant, after recently completing her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) at RMIT.

GAP Photography visited site earlier this week to capture the busy Richmond project.

The team are working hard in the lead up to completion!

The team out at Highpoint have been working hard across all areas of the Centre. The ‘Honeycomb’ ceiling is starting to take shape onsite with templating, perforated panels and lighting channels commencing.

Painting of steel and skylight frames in Zone 1 is progressing well.

Ceiling finishes to Zone 3 Level 3 are nearing completion, with the last of the wallpaper being installed in the coming days.

This has allowed the screeding works to commence with the tiling to follow.
