Internal structural steel in the heritage building is currently being erected and installed at the new entry area. Although access is restricted to the confines of the existing heritage building structure, the steel subcontractors are managing well to complete the installation.
The external concrete structure has progressed further in the last few weeks with more strip footings poured, stripping of formwork off columns, and the in-situ concrete lift pit.
The Buxton Contemporary team are working hard prior to the Christmas break, to ensure arrangements made in the New Year can be planned and followed through successfully.
