The team at Coles Aurora are very close to their second major milestone – achieving substantial completion of the Coles supermarket.

All tiling in the preparation areas is now complete, with the stainless steel benches and display cases installed. High impact doors leading to back of house are in, and the Coles staff amenities are almost finished with only the final joinery units be installed.

The mall entry has progressed well and is now close to completion. The shopfronts are installed to the main entry, the concrete slab is now cut and polished and the external feature timber battens have been installed. All external cladding on the feature red portal have been installed with the perforated band for the future Coles logo to be completed.

Building B roof, internal framing and blockwork are now complete. The external brickwork, shopfronts and external cladding framing are all now well underway.

Internally Building C and D are at 95% completion with the external brickwork and shopfronts all finished. External cladding framing has only a small portion to go, with the cladding to start after the ANZAC break.

The car park is tracking well with kerbs being put in before Easter and final levels achieved.

The first floor slab of the gym has been poured, roof and ground floor concrete works will commence after the ANZAC break.

Coles Express has been structurally signed off with all props now removed. Roofing works have commenced and the tanks have been completely back filled for the preparation of the external slabs.
