Oreana Property Group engaged Maben Group under a D&C contract to manage the delivery of the Craigieburn Junction Home Maker Centre in March 2018.
Oreana engaged a separate civil contractor to complete an early works package, and the centre is built around a 600-bay car park including a Caltex service station and Hungry Jacks restaurant.
Located at the intersection of Craigieburn Road and Aitken Boulevard, the large bulky goods development comprises of 5 buildings of approximately 23,000 square metres of lettable space and more than 60 tenancies. The development includes 14 large format retail tenancies, a 1st-floor childcare centre, 18 specialty stores, 1,500sqm of elevated office space and a 1,500sqm medical centre.
Throughout the build, Maben Group assisted in the coordination and delivery of over $2 million of tenancy fit-out works for Oreana including big brand tenants Nick Scali, Beacon Lighting, Freedom, Snooze, Betta Homes, Super Cheap Auto, PetBarn, Fresh Plus, Fernwood, Autobarn, Carpet Court.
Working in conjunction with Oreana Property Group, PGIM Real Estate & Ellis Group Architects, Maben completed the project on a 13 month construction programme.
