Located in the new St Collins Lane shopping centre on Collins Street, the Debenhams department store is a new
destination for fashion and beauty in an iconic location.

Works at St Collins Lane involved restructuring the basement level of the old Australia on Collins building
and the conversion of an existing mezzanine into a stockroom, tenant amenities and office space. Base build works consisted of the demolition of an existing slab on ground in preparation for new concrete within the existing basement and suspended slab for the installation of a dedicated tenancy lift and formed concrete stair case.

Fitout stages delivered a visually beautiful store which consists of standout ceilings with different levels and feature lighting throughout, routered feature wall panelling, pattern etched atrium light boxes and shopfronts, two large LED screens above the escalator entries, one large LED screen seamlessly spanning over lower ground and ground floor, glazed balustrades and exposed structure and service elements.

Maben Group was pleased to handover the flagship store in conjunction with JP Morgan. The complex project was
delivered one month ahead of schedule and on budget.
