The Dunes team enjoyed a glimpse of spring sunshine early last week which assisted with the progress of the cladding. Unfortunately when the rain returned prior to the weekend and set in for the early part of this week, it put a real dampener on progress.
The Civil contractors are pushing hard to complete the preparation of the main carpark, with the plan to pour asphalt later this week, along with the fencing contractors completing the acoustic wall to the loading dock, dependent on the weather clearing. The footpath to the north of the Centre has now had a couple of sections poured, with the residual unfortunately on hold due to the weather.
In other news, the temporary generator has been powered up on site. This has allowed for all of the Woolworths lighting to be switched on and trades will commence shortly with equipment commissioning.
Vinyl to the trade floor is 75% complete with the final cutting in around the produce and deli areas remaining.
The first of the impact doors has been installed.
Final plastering touches to the tenancies are now winding up, and the passenger lift installation is well underway with the car to be operational come the end of this week.
