It is with great pleasure that Maben Group announces the successful completion, and launch, of the University Hill Factory Outlet expansion. In just over 11 months, we have added over 6000sqm of new retail space, 4500sqm of refurbished retail space, 120+ car parks and a new loading dock. All of this was done whilst keeping the existing centre open!

We applied a separable portion program of staging to this project, which allowed for continuous trading and loading operations, as well as, the opening of new retail tenancies for earlier trading, including anchor tenant, Nike.

Rod Appleby, Nick Barrett and Raphael Poggi, of MAB, have a wealth of previous construction delivery experience, and through their helpful collaboration and contribution to project delivery strategies, a logistically complex project was a pleasure to build.

Leasing Agent, Riva Ridge, made a significant contribution to the centre’s status by adding big name brands such as Nike, Country Road and Witchery.

At the opening on Wednesday, Shire of Whittlesea Councillors acknowledged that the centre made a significant contribution to the local area, and this is something that Maben Group is very proud of.

Maben Group, and the University Hill team, would like thank all of the subcontractors that were involved in the project. Without their tireless efforts, this fantastic end result could not have been achieved.
