The Eastland Team are progressing well with formwork and bondeck underway throughout in preparation for the first slab pour.
The Highpoint team have completed another milestone with their first concrete pour of the project, involving 20m3 of concrete installed across multiple locations within the Centre.
The completion of the concrete pour has allowed the mast climber to be installed in Centre Court providing access to high level ceiling works over the existing void.
The scaffold catch deck has now been dismantled following the successful completion of the concrete demolition for the future Water Feature as we prepare for the structural steel installation.
Tile demolition and ceiling finishes are progressing well in Zone 3 Level 3, while on Level 2 the templates for the feature ‘Honeycomb’ ceiling have commenced.
Final commissioning works are underway to Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s in readiness for handover.
Main mall area works are nearing completion and main carpark works are in progress.

The progress at Albert St has been steady. The anodised amber gold aluminium cladding & screens to the western façade have been successfully installed, as has most of the aluminium screens to the east.
Floor tiling installation to amenities are complete from ground floor to level 5, with basement End-of-Trip floor tiling scheduled to be completed in the next couple of days.
East & west glazing is complete and the south curtain wall is nearing completion. The north curtain wall is pushing along well.
Amenities & lobby walls have all been sheeted, stopped and sanded from basement to level 5.
Grid ceiling install is underway with level one complete and ready for electrostatic painting.
All services rough in nearing completion.

The Highpoint project team have been working hard on completing the remaining structural steel works in Big W Node 5 and Centre Court Level 3 in preparation for the concrete infills.
The demolition of the Water Feature slab has been completed in the last fortnight, removing approximately 100m2 of concrete rubble through the Shopping Centre after hours.
Zone 3 Level 3 is progressing well with finishes including Rimex, painting and electrical fit off underway.
Tile demolition has also commenced to this area and we are now undertaking removal of the existing screeds in preparation for the new floor tile install.
The Melbourne Grammar School – Myer Music Centre Redevelopment has been awarded to Maben Group.
The project involves the part demolition and remodel of the existing Bromby House & Myer Music buildings, construction of new basement and ground level music school complete with link bridge above. The existing services throughout the Myer and Bromby buildings will be upgraded to include new light and power, lift services, mechanical system, hydraulics and drainage & specialist sound and audio services throughout. The existing buildings will be acoustically treated with the addition of new ceiling and floor linings throughout.
Maben Group are excited to be working closely with Melbourne Grammar School and Peter Elliot Architecture to create a new music school for the future.

The team in Ocean Grove are progressing well with civil works ongoing and external cladding works nearing completion.
Polished concrete works in Woolworths and the Dan Murphys is almost complete.
Glass was recently installed in the Medical Centre, and the team are now making progress on the main mall works.
