With the Coles supermarket handover approaching, our Coles Aurora team are working hard to deliver the project’s second major milestone.

The majority of the tiling in the preparation areas is now complete as well as the the epoxy floors in the coolrooms. The joinery in the amenities areas is almost finished with sanitary hardware being fitted in the staff bathrooms. The dock levellers have been installed in the loading dock and the compactor is due to arrive on-site. The mall entry has been sheeted with the Coles red feature paint and the external cladding to the mall entry is finished with the windows and shop fronts beginning this week.

Building B roof has commenced and is at 50% completion – the internal masonry walls have all been erected and internal wall framing has begun.

Building C & D shopfronts have been installed. The exterior brickwork façade is almost complete and all the mechanical ductwork has been hung in Building D.

The car park is progressing well with the structural steel for the covered walkway now erected. Conduits have been roughed in ready for the light poles and smart parking signs.

The gym has been signed off structurally with all the panel props now removed. Structural brickwork has started to be laid in preparation for the ground floor slab.

The Coles Express slab has now been poured as well as precast and structural steel being erected. All the in-ground works are now being finalised for the exterior slabs to be poured.
