The 299 Bourke Street Redevelopment included the refurbishment of lower ground, ground and first-floor retail spaces in the heart of Bourke St Mall, plus the conversion of five upper levels into unique, state-of-the-art office spaces and a new lift lobby with access to Little Collins St. Heritage preservation and structural challenges were carefully managed throughout the project, refreshing the building fabric and retaining existing heritage features – including a restoration of the original 1928 ceiling.

Maben commenced the complex base build redevelopment of the heritage building in 2022 and has transformed the 1928 and 1938 building into a multi-tenancy retail precinct, and a unique five level commercial office space – including the addition of an entirely new level.
