Oreana Property Group engaged Maben Group under a design and construction contract to manage the delivery of the Craigieburn Junction Home Maker Centre in March 2018.

Located at the intersection of Craigieburn Road and Aitken Boulevard, the large bulky goods development comprises 5 buildings of approximately 23,000sqm of lettable space and more than 60 tenancies.

Oreana engaged a separate civil contractor to complete an early works package. The centre is built around a 600 bay car park, including a Caltex service station and Hungry Jack’s restaurant.

The development includes 14 large format retail tenancies, a 1st-floor childcare centre, 18 specialty stores, 1,500sqm of elevated office space, and a 1,500sqm medical centre.

Throughout the build, Maben Group assisted in the coordination and delivery of over $2 million of tenancy fit-out works for Oreana, including big brand tenants Nick Scali, Beacon Lighting, Freedom, Snooze, Betta Home Living, Super Cheap Auto, Petbarn, Freshplus, Fernwood Fitness, Autobarn and Carpet Court.

Working in conjunction with Oreana Property Group, PGIM Real Estate, and Ellis Group Architects, Maben completed the project on a 13-month construction programme.
