Construction of the Holden Dealership at Essendon Fields commenced in October 2018 and was completed in eight months.
Essendon Fields engaged Maben Group to design and deliver the base building warm shell. Preston Motor Group formally engaged Maben Group to deliver the fit out of the construction phase.
The dealership comprises a new vehicle showroom, used car yard, 23 hoist workshop, staff, and customer
amenities blocks, sales and used car dealer offices, mezzanine office space, board room, and staff amenities.
The site was previously ‘air side’ and was converted to ‘land side’, requiring the adaption of a former section of runway for the project.
This involved pulverising 6700sqm of asphalt and importing 1900 cubic meters of engineered fill to achieve the required levels.
The Holden Dealership is the sixth project Maben Group has successfully delivered for Essendon Fields.
