Maben Group completed Blackburn Square – Stage 2 in October 2023. The 12,250sqm project was completed in partnership with Australian Unity, APP Corporation and TRHS – a joint venture between TRCB and Hames Sharley.
The redevelopment involved the refurbishment and extension of the existing shopping centre, including a new Aldi supermarket, extension to the Woolworths supermarket to include a Direct to Boot service, new gym, childcare, medical centre, and range of specialty tenancies.
The project was developed in a live environment centre, requiring a staging of works and nightshifts to ensure access to the shopping centre was minimally impacted. The project delivery team completed the redevelopment across 20 months.
