The Sorrento Ferry Terminal project involved the construction of a new, state-of-the-art passenger terminal for Searoad Ferries. The 887sqm project was delivered within an operational marine environment, the first of its type built entirely over water.
The works comprised a full base build and fitout including a new passenger waiting area, hospitality facilities, commercial kitchens and bars, amenities across two levels, and improved ferry loading and unloading infrastructure. The terminal also incorporated high-end architectural features including dual external decks, feature lighting, a skylight, circular in-situ concrete core walls, and a porthole glass floor.
Partnering with Searoad Ferries and F2 Architecture to deliver a modernised gateway for travellers crossing Port Phillip Bay, supporting the ongoing operations of Searoad Ferries and the broader Mornington Peninsula community.
